Confirmation from our team: the snow conditions are optimal in Valloire.

As you could imagine following the multiple announcements of the television news, the snow conditions are optimal on Valloire in mid-November :-) Guillaume
We still went to check all that for you during a short warm-up hike at the start of the season two days ago, in the Valloire sector and the Setaz massif.
The program
Ascent in snowshoes for our two snowboarders and skins for the two skiers. Elevation of 750 meters in 1h30 (departure 1450m / arrival 2200m). Ascent by the Myosotis green run and descent by the Olympic black run. The snow conditions for this period are ideal with more than 60 cm of fresh snow at the top of the domain (20 cm at the bottom). This is more than enough to print the first traces of 2019! (see photos below).
It is certainly one of the best times to ski for seasonal workers, before the arrival of skiers for the Christmas holidays. An availability that will indeed not last, because the setting up of the store has already begun with the first deliveries of equipment.
